The "religious leadership" greatly feared losing their "jobs", as there were so many fellow Jews that were embracing Yeshua as the "lamb of God". They quickly regained their "right", from the Romans, to public executions by stoning other Jews.
Perhaps this information has been hidden from you? Perhaps you know others that have "entrusted" their eternal destiny to the "rabbis"?
