The Necessity of Justification

No one will enter heaven that has not been justified and found innocent of sin.

Justification is a legal word. In a court of law the defendant is considered to be guilty until they are justified by being found innocent. If they are NOT found to be innocent they will be condemned. Jesus was condemned for us, "He who knew no sin, became sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Paul wrote, "Therefore, being justified by faith (not religion) we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1.

We have peace with God because we have been found to be innocent. If you were not found to be innocent you would be condemned. This is why Paul wrote,

"There is therefore no condemnation to them which are IN CHRIST JESUS who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit" Romans 8:1.

What does it mean to walk after the Spirit? To walk after the Spirit is to walk in the Gospel. In the Gospel Jesus is the one that justifies us and gives us peace with God. Jesus makes us right with God. Religion is of the flesh and does not justify.

"To declare, I say, at this time HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS: that he might be just and THE JUSTIFIER of him that believes in Jesus" Romans 3:26.

It is the righteousness of Jesus that justifies us and gives us peace with God. There is no saving merit in faith, however, it is our faith that makes the Gospel ours. In God's court (the judgment) of law Jesus stands in our place and declares his righteousness? He does this in our name and on our behalf.

Because we have been justified by Jesus Christ, this also means that we have been reconciled to God. No one will be or can be reconciled to God without being first justified. No justification, no reconciliation and no salvation.

"And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ" 2 Corinthians 5:18.

If you don't believe that you have been reconciled to God by Jesus Christ and instead believe that you have been predestinated to salvation, this Gospel is not yours. If you believe that you can participate in your own salvation by works or whatever, this Gospel is not yours.

This is why we are justified by faith and by faith alone, plus nothing.

You teach that sinners Christ died for and Justified from sin by His Death, are going to perish in their sins anyways!

You dont even believe the death of Christ saved them He died for

Christ's death has never saved anyone, how could it?

Christ dying doesn't predict what anyone will choose to do, how could it?

Christ died to redeem people from the second death if they choose to accept him.

As of today countless billions of people have never heard of Jesus Christ, they have never had an opportunity for salvation but the Father hasn't forgotten them. Everyone will have their day to choose life or to choose death.

It is nothing you should be concerned about, everything is under control.

More unbelief and blasphemy ! Teaching Christ death alone didn't save anyone!

Which legal system is that?

Every sinner Christ died for is Justified from all sin, and you teach that people He died for wind up lost in their sins anyways!

The Bible, which you don't believe. Tells us that Jesus died for everyone, Hebrews 2:9. And that..."Whosoever that shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13.

You have a lot of courage, rejecting God's word like you do. You might as well throw your Bible in the trash.

So you don't believe or realise that sinners Christ died for are Justified by His Death/Blood ?

I believe what the Bible says, not what some heretic wrote back in the 1500's.

Jesus has atoned for the sins of the whole world. Read what the scripture says.

"And he is a propitiation for our sins: and not ours only, but for the sins of THE WHOLE WORLD" 1 John 2:2.

You should either believe all of the Bible, God's word, or you should believe none of it.

You believe the words of a heretic, but you can't believe God's word.

Salvation has been provided for everyone, Hebrews 2:9.

Jesus shed his blood for every one, but only those who accept and believe that his shed blood will save them from their sins will be saved.

You cannot escape the personal responsibility of everyone that is confronted with this message. What will you do about Jesus?

Please qualify "faith and faith alone" and "works".

Scientifically (simplified), "work" is simply using force to move an object any distance. The definition does not provide a minimum threshold for the object or the force. It can be a microscopic amount of force and movement, but it is still work.

Moving your mouth and talking is a work. Even consciously choosing to think is a work - things happen in your brain when you focus on making a decision, energy is used up, it causes neurons to fire in certain patterns. That = work.

So the ONLY way you can say that it doesn't take works at all to be saved is to believe in unconditional predestination in its most extreme sense. You'd have to believe that someone could theoretically never hear about God, be the worst thief, rapist and murderer the world has ever seen, and die while doing those deeds, but go to heaven because his works were totally irrelevant.

If you say it takes "choosing to accept Christ": that is a work. If you must "confess Jesus": that is a work.

Where do you draw the line? Could it be that biblical obedience is not a work?

You have entitled this thread the necessity of Justification, then refuse to believe that Christ death alone Justified them He died for! What kind of foolishness is that ?
