It means that you're presenting your argument as if there are only two possible choices, when there is the possibility of a third or more.

"Either this or that" while excluding "the other."

Truth: God came as our Messiah in Flesh and died for all humanity? IOW, what he did is available to all of humanity BUT mankind has been given freewill and will not desire or receive it. That is pretty straight forward.

The Messiah was planned before the world was and before the first man and woman was manifested.

There is ONE Way to salvation and it was designed for all mankind. Jesus said: I am the Way, the TRUTH, and The LIFE. Choose LIFE... IOW ... choose Me who is God your Savior.

Isaiah 43:11 I (God the invisible Spirit), even I, Am the LORD (God manifested visually with his one image); beside ME (as God and The LORD) there is no (other) Savior.
