There's a TV show I used to watch in the 50s, it was called; "Space Patrol!"
check it out on YouTube! It's right up your "Cosmic Alley!"

No.
In the referenced verse, 'them' referred simply to the people to whom Jesus had just spoken to in public.
You are adding your own spin by saying that "Them" is the Jews and or other enemies of the gospel. The particular revelation does not say this.
I am seeking to simply come to common understanding of the simple and uncontaminated messages in these particular revelations, Matthews: 13 verses: 10 to 16 KJV N.T..
Every thing in these particular revelations pertain only to the disciples and the particular set of people who Jesus had just delivers to in public. We have to establish what Jesus said about the two particular sets of people. Only then would it be correct to seek to identify who or what were these people in Jesus public gathering (clearly you would need to use other revelations to come to that further conclusion).
When Jesus said 'them' he was referring to all the people who attended his just concluded public meeting. When he said 'you' he was referring to only to his disciples.
The question conveyed no confusion. The disciples had said why do you speak to them in parables? The disciples did not ask why did you speak to some of them in parables.
The absolute truth is that in Jesus' recently concluded public lecture to those people, He did not in any way deliver the mysteries of God's kingdom of heaven because none of those people were given by God to know the mysteries of God's kingdom of heaven. Therefore you can look high and low in those deliveries (as recorded in the KJV N.T.) and you will not find any mysteries of God's kingdom of heaven. This is the simple and very critical message in these revelations.
Of even greater importance and to clear up all doubts: These revelations also confirmed that only the disciples were given by God to know the mysteries of God's kingdom of heaven. The message cannot be clearer. The disciples were different from all the rest. They were specially chosen by God for Jesus.
These revelations Matthews: 13 verses: 10 to 16 KJV N.T., also confirm that none of Jesus' deliveries (apart for those given to his disciples in private sessions among only them) are a source of the mysteries of God's kingdom of heaven.
Therefore when one uses those public and other deliveries (i.e. apart for those given to his disciples in private sessions among only them) as a source of the mysteries of God's kingdom of heaven one must inevitably be a false prophet who came in Jesus' name.
I would still like to know your 'translation' of Matthews: 13 verses: 10 to 16 KJV N.T. without your personal and/or other extra additions, qualifications and explanations.
Responses to your beliefs and assumptions have been addressed amply as well thru-out the thread, which leaves this dialogue in gridlock. I disagree with your narrow exclusive dogmatic interpretation of Jesus gospel and the Bible in certain particulars...and hold a much greater universal embrace of many different archetypes and possibilities of the personality of Jesus which is not limited to the UB, since Im an eclectic researcher of various and different schools.
Sadly all you and your fellow sock puppets can do is demean, degrade, devalue and demonize the UB or anything not fitting your religious formula or 'concept' of 'God'. Notice it is only you guys calling names, trashing the papers....continually attacking...which really shows your own insecurities and fears, a natural reflex of a religious ego self-aggrandizing and ready to lash out at any threat against its golden calves.
Since from the very first page of this thread.....your song n dance have not changed...neither progress in a constructive dialogue, so its futile really. We'll leave it at gridlock. Good luck in your religious journey.......all the best

Any doctrine can be judged on its own value, consistency, merit. The ethics and spiritual teaching of Jesus are of the highest order as revealed in the papers. Much accords with the religious truths of most all religions concerning universal principles and values. Your main issue is its view on 'blood-atonement' which we've amply addressed previously here.

If not Jews or others, who then did Jesus speak the parables to by the seaside???
Matthews: 13 KJV N.T.
1. The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.
2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
This is the lecture under contention:
1.) It is clear that Jesus delivered a parable to everyone in that audience. Nothing else is disclosed in those verses.
Therefore Jesus spoke in parable to everyone in that assembly because none of them were given by God to know the mysteries of God's kingdom of heaven. This is the purity of and truth in, the revelations in Matthews:13 verses: 10 to 17.
You seem to have you own preconceived agenda against the Jews and that is causing you to imagine and also make up your own things and your own righteousness.

Jesus was Jewish as well as ALL 12 of his apostles and most of his early converts. You assume things that I do not say.
The "mysteries of the kingdom" are those spiritual truths that ANY sincere truth seeker could extrapolate from the parables among the multitudes that heard Jesus speak. Privately, among the 12, Jesus told more parables and allowed the apostles to consider the meanings.
You are the corrupter based on a point that has failed. Anyone, weather apostle or disciple, could discern the truths of parables.
Absolutely none of those things are mentioned in or relevant to Matthews: 13 verses: 1 to 17.
You are simply adding your own spin arbitrarily so as to serve your own preconceived agenda.
I ask you to render the revelations in, Matthews: 13 verses: 10 to 17, in your own words, without adding your spin and you seem incapable of doing so. You are not prepared to simply respect, recognize and/or honor the purity of the literal and uncontaminated revelations in these verses.

You are deliberately denying, blaspheming and corrupting the KJV N.T. while pretending to esteem same.Jesus spoke parables publically and privately to reveal the mysteries of the kingdom to believers.
Matthews: 13 KJV N.T.
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
You are deliberately denying, blaspheming and corrupting the KJV N.T. while pretending to esteem same.
You are making up your own scriptures which totally opposes Jesus revelation and you are seeking to pass it out as Jesus'.
Jesus spoke in parables to the masses for one simple reason: "they were not given to know the mysteries of God's kingdom of heaven." This is confirmed unequivocally, by the Lord Jesus, in the following:
Do you realize that you are converting Jesus' words to its totally opposite meaning? If you can take that kind of liberty (to convert thing to their opposite meaning) and get away with it, then next, you can claim that Jesus is not the Christ but the Antichrist.
You are so boldly and corruptly, promoting your idea which is the exact opposite to what Jesus confirmed . . . and falsely passing your idea out as Christianity. Is that not extreme corruption? Who would do that other than a false prophet who came in Jesus' name?
Clearly your agenda is to deny Jesus in some not so cunning but certainly subterfuge manner while pretending to be unlike the Jews (i.e. according to your claims).
You seem to have the agenda against Jesus which you originally claim the Jews had. However, it is evidence here that you are pretending that you do not have that agenda. You must be attempting to fool unsuspecting and naive readers into adopting your unsavory Anti-Christian agenda. Are you doing this unwittingly or are you a spy?
You are literally promoting the exact opposite to what Jesus confirmed in the above simple and very straightforward revelation.
Please stop.
"You" and "them" meant believers and non believers.
This argument of yours makes Jesus out to be foolish going about teaching things that nobody believed or understood. Jesus did have followers among the crowds but also unbelievers, heathens and spies for the Pharisee's and such.
It could be that you cannot discern the mysteries of the kingdom yourself and are blind to these simple truths?
10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”
11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. 12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
Jesus was speaking of anyone who chanced to hear his teachings.
