"We must obey the law" is their motto.

They dare not say "We" obey the law therefore you must follow us because they know very well that they don't. But when they say we must obey they are implying that they do.

It is a con trick.

They tried this out in church and they were found out, that is why they are all unchurched. Now they are online where nobody can see their inconsistent lives.

They try to strike fear into people, then they suppose everyone is going to become their little disciples.

Wow. You got me. Incredible insight. How is it that you know so much?!

Obviously, that's sarcasm. On a more serious note, your presumption is fairly ridiculous. I can make all kinds of broad sweeping generalizations to make others feel certain ways about those whose opinions differ from mine, but that isn't very productive. I hope the conversations changes your mind.

This is so true. Actually, I've never known some self-proclaimed "holy Joe" who stayed the Christian course or was not the one caught with their pants down in the congregation. Given time, you find them out: some things nobody can fake, for very long.

Lack of personal repentant humility towards sin and always talking about the sin of everybody else is a major tell that somebody is a tare. It's rooted in a pathological narcissism. They're all over the place, in congregations and on the web. Yes, con artists to the man, and the bottom line is they're Satan's tools for spreading fear and doubt in the less grounded. Should say trying to spread fear and doubt, as I've not seen real Christians taken in by their false doctrines, and I find them as obvious as somebody wearing a clown costume. Maybe who do they think they're fooling is the real question? Whatever, when they're not busy condemning everybody else, you'll find them downloading porn.

Good post!

Matthew 7

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Maybe, you could explain further your scriptural outlook
regarding your Lawless conclusions.

To me JESUS wanted us to incorporate the Law in our hearts and minds
as well as doing the 10 commandments.

Yep this was me 100%. I ended up doing the very things I judged other people of doing. Legalism is deadly.
The only thing I would say is that I wasn't out to con people. I was conned.

For me it was motivated out of fear of being displeasing to God, that's how I was. The thought that God could not be pleased with me, was a horrible thought. And so the motivation of love is replaced with fear, and fear has torment. The desire to please God is so strong, that you are conned into thinking that, if your obedient life measures up to what you think God expects, then God will pour out blessings on you, and your acceptance is confirmed. In the words of Admiral Ackbar, "it's a trap". This kind of walk with God is miserable, because the more your desire is to measure up to God's expectations, the more weaknesses you see in yourself that need to be ruthlessly dealt with.
After being so ruthless with my own lifestyle, and pleased with my performance, I started to look over the fence at other peoples dirty washing, and frowning. The pharisee was out of the box. Inevitably it all leads to shipwreck, despair, failure, and disgrace, followed by the assumption that God could never love me again, because the fall is to great. Time for a new dose of God's love and grace, and a NEW CHURCH.

If you will not accept what the bible says about the law with regards to salvation why should my feeble reasonings be of any interest to you?

What I have is the life of Christ in my soul, He lives in me.

If He dwells in YOU you will certainly be saved.

Tot, what about that "law of sowing and reaping" that many charismatics believe in?

That law applies to everyone, and it is a covenant God made with ALL flesh through Noah, it is the covenant of hope.

God will never again destroy all flesh but while the earth remains seedtime and harvest.

Agreed.

And as far as people who keep calling out the songs of others (supposed or real), you condemn yourself: it's the very thing your post is doing...... I have yet to come into this forum and chastise anyone for what sins they commit. As a matter of fact, the only thing I do is defend the holiness of the God-given instruction of Torah; though I will say that I am not a big fan of Gurucam.... That guy really gets me angry.

Edit: changed songs into sins... Music choice is not a problem.

I mean the seed faith\word faith universal law that if anyone gives (to preachers) in faith, God must give that person a profitable return on his investment.

I don't know of such doctrines, the promise is universal for God promised ALL flesh as long as the earth remains seed time and harvest....and it was Paul who developed the doctrine saying

What so ever a man shall sow that also shall he reap, if he sow into the flesh of the flesh he will reap corruption if he sow into the Spirit of the Spirit he will reap life everlasting.

Start sowing today, you will find that this is a promise that cannot fail ever...God has put a bow in the sky, so every time you see God's bow you can be SURE seed time will be followed by harvest.

Again God's word is seed...be careful where you sow, find some good fertile soil....you'll get a harvest. What so ever you sow, THAT also will ye reap.

James say's be patient in well doing like the farmer for in due season we will reap.

There is only one holy, there is only one way to obtain it

Christ IS our Sanctification, He hath sanctified us for all time by a single sacrifice...the holy conners would have us believe they have reached a higher state of sanctification.

This again is why they are unchurched, for they are those who Isaiah told about who say to us "walk before me for I am holier than you" God warns they shall lie down in sorrow.

How holy shall we be if Christ dwells in us? the trick is in allowing Him to manifest His life THROUGH us.
