The so-called apostle to the Jews actually was the first to the Gentiles, meaning, the point of Acts is that it always was and inevitably was going to the Gentiles, through Jewish Christians.

If Peter going to Cornelius was just part of the so-called "great commission", why did Peter need SPECIAL revelation from God to go?

You probably think that he was dumb and did not understand, just like you accuse him of that in Acts 1.

Remember that this SPECIAL revelation came AFTER the LORD Jesus Christ called Paul.

Hi and Gentiles and STRANGERS have lived among Israel beginning in Ex 22:21 and in Duet 23:19 !~

Like Ruth , Hagar , and many PROSELYTES in Acts 2:10 and the reason that Acts 10: 47 , we STILL see what happened at Pentecost the BAPTISM with the Holy Spirit and water Baptism is still in effect , BUT a change is coming , like 2 Cor 3:13-16 !!

And that from Acts 9:6 we see a TRANSITION with a new apostle with a New Message of Grace called a DISPENSATION , Eph 3:1-10 !
