I think these illustrations you put together are pretty awesome.
They have me wondering if the Bible might have played a role in how Americans use the English language. Because when speaking, oftentimes what they are actually trying to do is to paint a picture with words, in order to convey what something is like*.
The Bible so often uses language in this same way.
The same is not true for every language and nationality. For example, the German language lends itself more to conveying things in a strict and technical manner. I think this often leads them to being overly standoffish and self-important. And to quibble over things that no American in their right mind would ever argue about. If they would learn to use language the way the Bible uses it, I think it would help them.
*(When Americans want to do something other than that, like when a contractor wants to give specific instructions to his team of laborers, he temporary changes the way he normally communicates, "OK now, listen up guys! I am not going to paint a picture with my words now! Instead I am going to give you specific technical instructions on exactly what we are building today.)
