I've talked with the moderators about not being so ban-happy.

My view is that if someone annoys you, just put them on ignore. You're an adult. Posters here on TOL don't need to run to the nearest nanny/moderator all the time.

I am glad you talked to them. I would really like to unload outload about my permanent ban, which thankfully was reversed, but I guess I am not allowed to say anything. But I sure would like to PM someone so I could understand it and say something about it.

It shouldn't hurt it. Think of those cops on duty with all those Antifa people yelling and screaming. They have to take it, like a stone cold statue. That takes discipline. Its not for the faint of heart, and I certainly could not do it, which is why I will never become a cop.
I think if you ae a Mod you have to be able to be like those cops. My opinion.
