Yep, Pascual Perez. Pitched for the Braves a while in the 80s. Missed his first start in Atlanta, he couldn't figure out how to get off of I-85 to get to the ballpark. :kookoo:

I'm not anxious to see the Cardinals give up totally on Lyons. But it seems to me, he needs another pitch from the same arm position as his fastball, preferably much slower with a sharp bite.

Wainright hurt himself batting. Something with his ankle. He's basically out for the year. Lynn is now our #1, Lackey #2, Wacha #3, Martinez #4 and hopefully Garcia as our #5.

The Cardinals need to plan on 8 starters, or more, per season. This year, we lost Wainright, Gonzales, Garcia for a large portion of the season. Garcia is back today, but we're already 40+ games into the season. Having a long reliever like Villenueva has really proved fortunate.
