Rev 3:19It seems, by the responses to this thread, that nobody has gone through the mercies of rebuke and chastening, because if you had you would recognise it in yourself and in others.
It is worth noting that He only rebukes and chastens those He loves and by definition those He calls to conversion and regeneration. If you don't know, recognise and understand the process of rebuke and chastening then you have not been saved.
