Are you hearing trumpets? Or do you just not believe Jesus?

Matthew 24:31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The trumpets have a deeper meaning, just like much of the Bible does. Like the seed does, like the water does, and like many other things do.

Those lines in Jn 5 and 8 are about the resurrection, but to pass from spiritual death to life is sometimes referred to as a birth, yes.

But shouldn't be. How can a person be born of the Spirit before they are conceived of the Spirit such as was the case with Jesus.

What's the Greek word for born?

'genao' is the generic verb.

You're not going to find much about Christ on these things that transfers over to the regular Christian. Don't forget the person Nicodemus is a leader in Judaism in need of the birth, so he's coming out of that as well.

'genao' is the generic verb.

Gennao means to beget or to be born depending on the context. Same word, two menaings.

Strong's G1080 gennaō From a variation of G1085; to procreate (properly of the father, but by extension of the mother); figuratively to regenerate: - bear, beget, be born, bring forth, conceive, be delivered of, gender, make, spring.

1 John 5:1 YLT Every one who is believing that Jesus is the Christ, of God he hath been begotten, and every one who is loving Him who did beget doth love also him who is begotten of Him.
