Our intentions, thoughts, and words should always honour Elohim and communicate the fact that we value that which He has made and revere Him.
There is also the issue of making others stumble, which can easily be done with jokes. Others might consider the jokes as being offensive, hurtful, irreverent or impure. If you are using liberty then you might be doing so at the expense of another’s conscience as it is written:
"It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones."
Jokes are usually lies and we know who the father of lies is as we know who his children are...

They are one and the same ! Re-read John 1:1 i.e. "in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word WAS God".
Then jump to John 1:14 "and the word became flesh and dwelt among us".
Then jump to John 8:58 where Jesus told them "before Abraham He was i.e. the "I AM".
Then you might want to read Thomas's response to seeing Jesus alive after He was crucified which was " My Lord and my God". Since Jesus did not correct Thomas if Jesus isn't God He would be guilty of accepting worship and praise only God is worthy to receive.
There are many many more scriptures that prove Jesus is God but you can only see them when you seek God with all of your heart.

They aren't sloppy. The idenifite articular construct is older than the english definite articular constructs.

We have plenty of threads to complain about Trump, this thread is about schools teaching small children about changing sexes. If you can't respect the rules of TOL take it up with the owner and take your show on the road.
Even Robert Kraft, the owner and CEO of the New England Patriots, a close friend of "The Donald" and contributor of $1 million to the President's Inauguration criticized Trump and supported his players.
The President, in his infinite wisdom, has taken a few isolated incidents and made it a point of honor that NFL players, coaches and owners to display acts of solidarity against "The Donald's" tweets and file the moral leadership vacuum that has been vacated by POTUS and Republican politicians.
