I've seen this argument made in my "On Cowards and Heroes" thread and in more than a few rape threads lately.

What do you think?

Should the mere fact that someone has been a victim of wrongdoing automatically make their behavior (which may or may not have been contributory) exempt from examination?

The cops know there are two sides to every story...which is why they always get statements from both, if possible. Sometimes they charge both (mutual combat, for instance). Sometimes the one who sustains the most damage is the only one found to be at fault. So, the answer is NO....

It would much easier if the OP just stated ... "morality is relative ... depending on who commits the violation".

That's the point. Morality is not relative. Even victims can be committing immoral behavior. Immoral behavior that can result in some other immoral behavior being committed against them.

Morality is only relative to those who don't admit certain behavior is immoral when it clearly is.

my divorce is not finalized, hence, i am not dating

soon i will be free

So, evidently its a crime to make friendly talk with a librarian regardless of age if you are still legally married. I didn't know they called that dating now a days either. It's also evidently a crime to make up a hypothetical situation for debate purposes about said librarian.
