Shall be Saved by His life!

Christ's first life was mortal. His second life, the one he has now, is immortal.

In a nutshell; people with immortality are immune to death; not even God can kill them, i.e. it is impossible to terminate immortal people in the lake of brimstone depicted at Rev 20:11-15 where the lost will undergo a manner of death akin to a foundry worker falling into a kettle of molten iron.

1Cor 15:53-54 . . This mortal nature must put on immortality. When this mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

FYI: The koiné Greek word for "saved" in Rom 5:10 not only means to rescue, but also to protect. Well; I cannot imagine better protection from the wrath of God than immortality. He'd no doubt still be able to beat me up and kick me around, but any attempt to snuff the life out of my body would be futile.
