as a preterist you don't get much right
Rev 19:15 From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.
But it has to match the use of Deut 18, and it's not the later restoration of all things, the NHNE. It is the work of the mission to the nations, Christ the covenant for the nations, by proclaiming his sacrifice to them. That is what is being launched here. The wicked ways are the practices of Judaism which are to be shed. V26 does not say that the crucifixion can be undone, but that they can now be the blessing to the nations by preaching it.
For that matter, 'sending Jesus' (taken within Israel) means God wants to offer him one more time as Savior from the debt of sin, and to be preached.
There is an important connector in the passage, v22's "for..." It means for this reason. So the reason Moses said what he did was the sending that is to take place in the early days of switching from Judaism to the Gospel.
