You cant open the eyes of someone God has blinded.

I think people today are trying to justify behaviour on the ground of DNA, 'its in my genes'.
I cannot find any support whatsoever for same sex relationships or marriage in scripture.
I've seen an article by a doctor from Johns Hopkins who said there is no evidence supporting the theory that orientation is linked to chromosomes. I think you are right that people are just looking for justification.
