which teachings of Paul's do you think we're all confused about?

This is what I watch for.
Whenever someone quotes something God said out of His law,
or something Jesus said in the gospels,
and they refute that saying of God by offering up a verse, or verses, from St Paul.
As if what St Paul says negates what the Lord our God said.

Or, when they post a post to refute something the old scriptures said,
or to justify a non-Jesus saying they keep,
and they offer a big batch of verses from St Paul.

Then you can be sure they are confused, not so much by St Paul's teachings,
but by all the people who have been teaching wrongly what his sayings supposedly mean.
And you get to see which teachings also.

They say "no works" and they work really hard to convince of this.
They say "there is no more offerings" and they make vast numbers of offerings, to convince us of that.
Just to give an idea just how confused some of them are.

I think you've seen what I mean.
I mean no offense to anyone, I feel for those still confused.
I wish I knew a way to convince them back to God's word.
But then, they also seem happy as they are. So amen to them.

YOUR ONLY HELD LIABLE FOR YOUR OWN SALVATION

Phil 2:12-14
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
14 Do all things without complaining and disputing,
Mark 12:30
30 'And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment.
Luke 6:40-42
40 "A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.
41 "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye?
42 "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother's eye.
1 Cor 1:9-10
9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
10 Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
2 Cor 6:14-17
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people."
17 Therefore "Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you."
Gal 6:3-6
3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For each one shall bear his own load.
6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
Matt 10:23-25
23 "When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
24 "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.
25 "It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household!
Rom 12:14-21
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.
20 Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head."
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Gal 6:3-10
3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For each one shall bear his own load.
6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all,
Col 2:18-19
18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
Heb 13:12-16
12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.
14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.
15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Heb 8:11
11 "None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.

xxxxxIn the milk people are more concerned about saving others. But the meat is all about working out your own salvation.
You cant even be worried about your spouse or children. If you have that worry you dont have the true love of God in you.
If you have anything on earth left that you will regret leaving, you havent got your love right yet. Mate, children, money, property, books, prosperity, parents. To obtain salvation you must crucify all your emotions and feelings in obedience to the Word of God. You must bring every thought in your mind to the obedience of Jesus. These are the works the Word demands.

I Jn 2:15-17
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world-- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-- is not of the Father but is of the world.
17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
(NKJ)

Rev 12:10-11
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
(NKJ)

xxx You havent even made it to Christ until you have crucified all your emotions and feelings.

Gal 5:24-25
24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
(NKJ)

James 1:23-24
23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;
24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
(NKJ)

1 Pet 1:3-9
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,
7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
8 whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
9 receiving the end of your faith-- the salvation of your souls.
(NKJ)

Heb 3:17-19
17 Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
(NKJ)

1 Pet 3:21
21 There is also an antitype which now saves us-- baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
(NKJ)

Col 2:9-13
9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
(NKJ)

xxx Worrying about others could cost you your own salvation.

John 21:20-22
20 Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?"
21 Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, "But Lord, what about this man?"
22 Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me."
(NKJ)

1 Cor 7:16
16 For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?
(NKJ)

1 Cor 7:29-31
29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none,
30 those who weep as though they did not weep, those who rejoice as though they did not rejoice, those who buy as though they did not possess,
31 and those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away.

yes or no

was Paul divinely inspired?

was the Holy Spirit speaking through Paul?
Yes, and yes.

But his sayings don't mean what those that reject God's law strive to have us believe.
St Paul didn't reject God's law, nor taught that we do that.

If he had done that,
we wouldn't say he was divinely inspired,
and he couldn't have had the Holy Spirit.

They that forsake the law praise the wicked:
but such as keep the law contend with them.

Proverbs 28:4

Wherever the Pauline Christians go, you will see brethren contending with them,
and those contenders are good to listen to.
They will show even Pauline verses that contend the "death" gsopel.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing,
but the keeping of the commandments of God.

1 Corinthians 7:19

YOUR ONLY HELD LIABLE FOR YOUR OWN SALVATION

Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel:
therefore hear the word at My mouth,
and give them warning from Me.
When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die;
and thou give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life;
the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity;
but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity;
but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Again,
When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity,
and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die:
because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin,
and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered;
but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not,
and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned;
also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Ezekiel 3:17-21

never heard the term

how are they different from Christians?

I think it is obvious in the term, isn't it?

I'm referring to those whose offerings consist mainly of St Paul's words,
and who combat those that try to teach out of the law.

That's the main difference among Christians, that I see.
Some think God says to keep His commandments, even the law of Moses.
Others think God says a New Covenant now, and His law He abolished.
Got to believe in the cross now, not in God's words (look what St Paul says).
Only then have you got faith.

But the more Jesus came, the more my faith in God's words grew.
The more my faith in the many letters offered up by Pauline Christians diminished.
I'm not sorry.
Nor be you.

Be exceeding glad.
