Have you guys considered what is more important than salvation when it comes to Christianity?
You bring up an important point. Human repentance means nothing if not motivated by a proper fear of God. All Christians are admonished of God to "13. Make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but rather let it be healed.I'm going to share a few scriptures on repentance. Acts 5:31
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Acts 11:18
18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
Acts 20:21
21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
The greek word for repentance in these verses is metanoia and means:
change of mind, repentance
Usage: repentance, a change of mind, change in the inner man.
Notice also in Acts 5 and Acts 11 the God is said to give or grant this repentance. This repentance towards God is something man doesn't have naturally, it must be furnished by God. Its Gods Gift to His Chosen People.
And your verse in Acts 20:21 , says Jews and also to the GREEKS /HELLEN means GRECIANS , not Gentiles >I'm going to share a few scriptures on repentance. Acts 5:31

You just want to show off. Did you understand the points ?And your verse in Acts 20:21 , says Jews and also to the GREEKS /HELLEN means GRECIANS , not Gentiles >
The Greek word for GENTILES / is ETHNOS .
The Greek word HELLENS is used also in John 12:20 , Acts 14:1 , Acts 16:1 and 3 , Acts 17:4 , and in Col 3:11 and in many other verses .
Gentiles / ETHNOS is the where is it most PROMINENT is in Acts 28:28 which shows that God has set Israel aside and the message of GRACE is now going to the GENTILES / ETHNOS !

Do you believe that if Christians instruct the wicked in meekness then Jesus might peradventure give them repentance?True repentance toward God Acts 20:21
21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Repentance here is spiritual and evangelical, with a view towards the Gospel, the Truth of God. This repentance must be given to the sinner, without the gracious bestowal of it to the sinner, the sinner would never repent, and could never repent, towards God.
Acts 5:31; 11:18;2 Tim 2:25. This evangelical repentance always culminates into belief of the truth 2 Tim 2:25
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth[The Gospel];
God not man decides who will repent and believe the Truth, otherwise man remains captive to the devil !
Mans will isnt free in this matter, he is bound by satan, the devil, to do his will !
What did I just quote ?Do you believe that if Christians instruct the wicked in meekness then Jesus might peradventure give them repentance?
