Did you also note, and understand the difference of God in Gen 1 and LORD God in Gen 2?
‘God’ in Gen 1 refers to the All Mighty God. LORD God is also the All Mighty God, but more than that this title means He is the Covenant God of His children.
Luk 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
Gen 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Sons of God, children of Adam. Daughters of men, children of mankind that were created in Gen 1.
