It's quite easy to pick on those without skill, isn't it? Someone has dumped a truckload of oil on the TOL, and its not snakeoil. From politics to religion, the cliches have it.So you want to be bossy, but with you it's a virtue.
I don't normally think of answering a thread whose singular purpose is to misrepresent my conduct as "picking" on someone. And that was about as gentle a job of pointing out an inherent hypocrisy as I could think of.
Doesn't really matter, bybee. At present and for some time I've made an effort to move my difference and rhetoric toward a more gentle approach, even in the humor of it. How people respond to that is their own trouble and speaks to their own spiritual want or plenty.
People who put far too much value in an internet chat room experience. I meant the thread as a light, easy way for people to access a few whales around here, a window of sorts to counter a number of assumptions on the point. But take a good idea and put it in the hands of people without perspective and it becomes something ugly.

No, just a want of her considering the problem of her complaint. Nothing earth shattering, only needless.
I haven't offered an injury and I don't feel particularly injured, so I'm not sure where forgiveness enters into it. As to fault, I set out what seemed to me a benefit of an innocuous thread. When the purpose wasn't followed I made a polite request of one poster who then had to be literally removed and a second nudge to rainee on the point when she made what I thought was likely an innocent mistake.
Rainee, who has within this admitted to laboring for acceptance in one group has a problem with exclusion from even a thread about another. That I didn't know about her and that I can't help her with. It's for her to consider.
I'm not sure what else there is to say on the point.

It seems several members find it galling to see those designated as being the elite of TOL, by those who have no valued basis for naming some as such, continuing to glory in their false and baseless laurels, by creating threads that reveal their elitist opinion of the common hoi polloi who they deem undeserved to join their inflated company.

Because none of the"Famers" has contributed one post worth an intellectual or spiritual hoot, that comes close to explaining their inexplicable honors.

I wouldn't be the first one to get one to get sucked into "roleplay" on the internet, nor the last. I also know the rules of membership, and asking a MOD to close a thread, yet what is a private thread? Isn't it a blog, necessarily, by it's core meaning.
