ONE OR SEVERAL REASONS I ENJOY GROSNICK MAROWBE..

Some have been asking for GM
to say something about himself
that relates to his life. Well, through
due consideration, I've decided to
disclose the fact that, at the tender
age of 3 years old a barn door fell
on my head and leg. I suffered a
broken leg and a rather bruised head.
(no brain injuries, however) Many years
later (as an adult) I attempted to do a river dance
and suffered a flashback from when the barn door
fell on my head. From that day forward I was
unable to perform a "river dance." So I wrote
the following (because of the agony of not being
able to river dance again)

So, here's what I wrote;

My head began to pound with every single weighted tap upon the unmerciful ground that lay before me. As I gazed at the synchronized footsteps that sought to mesmerize my being with every tortured movement. I hastened to flee from this, all encompassing imprisonment.

The throngs beset me from all sides and kept me from my hasty retreat. I stared at faces, which were, as stone fixtures filled with utter conceit and self-admiration."

I couldn’t help notice their arms folded across, less than humble postures. The crowds began to roar savage howls of primeval delight. I found the courage to ask, “who, and what is this?”

The masses cried out, “The River dance.”

Well, I finally received another
neg rep (surprise, surprise) from
my dear friend NickM. I had begun
to be concerned the poor fellow
had forgotten GM. However, no he's
back on the prowl and itching
to write another neg rep...What
a guy....

No worries, be happy. Neg reps are only figments of mad men's imagination.

You are a master at whining. You have set the bar at a new height when it comes to the term "moron". Your use of the term friend is as hollow a phrase as I've ever seen!

Oh- yes- you are definitely resilient. I'm impressed you haven't left TOL yet.

Don't you know, you just whined?

:D I say, let us all whine....and stop pretending you don't do it, too.

One can admire someone's talent,
accomplishments, personality, work
position, sense of humor etc., without
actually loving that person....

It is not possible for me not to love. Not because I work it up myself..but, because God has made me a new creation, where LOVE is the only source that can flow...from the REAL me. I do not even look at my old self any longer. It is true that it likens to hate daily, but it is dead.

It is all a matter of the heart. Where you focus.

If you focus on the dead flesh, of course you are gonna see what you no longer desire.

Well said!!

They remind me of the 'church traditions', that men set up to keep the goers in check. They plant this false dogma into your mind, causing you to never come to grips with what the Holy Spirit wants to teach you....all the while, you play along, thinking it is the Will of God. (Such nonsense rules/regulations of men, etc). As if another man's finger pointing at me, can cause God to make a judgement against me...LOL, if He wants to make a judgement against me, He will do it with power and relative relationship, not backdoor, ugly name calling., etc. No love in that...and, some are blind to basics.

Once you leave traditions of men, you are not likely to pay them much attention.

Are you certain he was a Methodist?
And, are you certain it wasn't GM??

He claimed to be Methodist and he showed up every Sunday and preached from the pulpit. I'm pretty sure you're not him.

I did like him too though. He was an "X-Biker dude". He claimed that he got saved on a dare.
