What caused that huge increase in the last 7 years ?
The immoral people that voted for Obama.
What caused that huge increase in the last 7 years ?
Wow, I will take radically biased sources from American Thinker for 400, please. How about some real sources and not a page that appears to be constructed from a 7 year old in 1998?You can start here, this is a library of this racially opportunistic president, a virtual montage of his use of race baiting for political gain, division, and mayhem. This database holds literally hundreds of news media articles chronicling the racial proclivities of this president. Enjoy.

Which enemies? When?*Failure to name our enemies
It has nothing to do with PC. How do you think this would go? It would create chaos and panic, although, that seems to be the goal for all of you nutties who are frothing at the mouth to go kill someone with a tan skin tone. Am I right? High 5!*Attempting to downplay the fact that terrorists live amongst us, and a failure to call for public vigilance to aid in their location because of political correctness.
What does this have to do with school shootings, again?*Refusal to close the borders
Who did he release? When? Under what context? Why?*Releasing thousands of illegal criminals to live amongst the citizenry rather than deport them as the law requires him to do. Lawlessness
Still no credible sources from you regarding this rhetoric...*Engaging in race baiting rhetoric that enables criminal behavior while undermining those charged with enforcement of laws.
What cities? When? Which rights?* Choosing to use the out of control crime waves of the inner cities as a soapbox for infringing on the rights of the law abiding citizenry instead of restoration of order while upholding the law.
No, I'm not going to watch a video, you TELL me what laws he is not enforcing.
"President Obama has all the laws he needs to stop the bloodshed now,” Wayne LaPierre asserts in his response to President Obama’s Chicago gun control speech today. “Under the existing Federal gun laws he could take every felon with a gun, every drug dealer with a gun and criminal gang-banger with a gun off the streets tomorrow and lock them up for 5 years or more. Chicago is a city that has seen a shooting every 2.8 hours this year and yet Federal charges are ignored.”

Obama's 7 Year Record of School ShootingsSecond Amendment
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Ted Cruz is more of a Canadian, than Obama is a Moslem - yet our conservative "friends" are strangely silent that as late as 2014, Cruz was a dual citizen!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_incarceration_rate
The incarceration rate of the United States of America was the 2nd highest in the world, at 698 per 100,000 population (2013).
While the United States represents approximately 4.4% of the world's population, it had 24.7% of the world's 9.8 million prisoners in 2008.
Does anyone seriously think that increasing the incarceration rate in America will act as a deterrent and/or solve the problem?
So, it's the FEDERAL court not handing down tougher sentences. It's not the mayor, it's not the president. It's the JUDGES. Judges that are generally not voted out of their position because people don't know enough about the individual judges, or take the time to learn about them. How is this the fault of the president or the mayor? It's a failure of the voting public.
Oh please. It's not the judges if the DOJ never prosecutes, or the police never arrest them. Please show where all the supposedly prosecuted cases available were thrown out or overturned by judges.
Jgarden, you are nuts !!! Provide every kid in school with a gun ? This is extremely dangerous even if no lunatic gunman enters the school with the intention of causing death and destruction .
Open carry is extremely dangerous . There have been numerous examples of guns going off by accident and wounding or killing people by accident in public . America has gone totally insane with gun mania , and millions of people have become paranoid !
The NRA is laughing all the way to the bank ! The gun companies are raking in the dollars as if there were no tomorrow , and
people are dying left and right .
Idiot gun owners with small children have been leaving loaded guns out in their homes , and dozens of toddlers have been killing each other and their parents !
Something has got to stop !!!!
