As you see, he called it precisely right this time. He might not be the most honest person on Earth, but he's no fool. Do you think he didn't know what would happen when the memo was released, and wasn't what the whackos were predicting it to be?

The FBI used the Steel dossier to obtain a FISA warrant....testified to by Andrew McCabe.
You look it up. The last sentence of section four of the memo.
Actually, as Nunes admitted on the last page, it was a drunken slip by a Trump campaign official that first tipped them off. The Steele document was only part of it.
So now, it's time to show that the FBI denied that the Steele document had any part in the FISA process.

They used the Steel Dossier, and it was at the top of the list. It was a political hit piece paid for by the DNC and the Clinton campaign. I don't have to prove anything to you. It's why they fought so hard to keep this from being released. Just watch....more is coming out. I know you hate it, but that's the way it goes....the truth will out.
No. It was at the top of the memo. However, Papadopoulos' drunken slip to an Australian diplomat was reported before the Steele document, and Page had been a concern for the FBI earlier than that, when it was found that the Russians were interested in working with him.
Nope. Even the Steele document had been initially commissioned by a conservative republican.
As Musty admitted, it's "nothing." And everyone knew this. Ryan told us this before it was released.
That's what they said about the memo.
So Manafort and Flynn, and Papadopoulos discovered. More to come.
1. The FBI had received FISA warrants as early as 2014, 2 years before the Steele Dossier was written so obviously the FBI had enough "intel" on Carter Page without the Dossier!
2. The Nunes Committee refused, for reasons that they have yet to explain, to allow FBI Director Wray to testify before it!
3. There has been no attempt by the Committee to review the FISA Court decisions on Carter Page to determine on what basis the judges made their decisions, nor had the Committee taken the time to interview the FISA judges - like everything else the Republicans do, this Memo was made in haste to serve their political agenda!
