A saved individual, who is sane, with no axe to grind, can see that all of these are about the same person, same period of time, and same events.
Yes, and I think we can all agree that that person is Darby.

Revelation 11:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
Revelation 13:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
42 months + 42 months = 84 months which is seven years. Do the math. It's pretty simple.
Who causes the sacrifice and oblation to cease (daniel 9), according to you?
Only Christs death could have done that.
There is no way you can read chapter 8 and chapter 11 and conclude that this is the LORD:
Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Impossible. It's painfully obvious it is all about the same person.
Daniel 9:1-2 1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans; 2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. |
Daniel 9:27 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. |
Daniel 9 is about the exile and promised return of the children of Israel from the land of Israel.
Daniel was reading in the book of Jeremiah about the 70 years of exile.
Daniel 9:1-2
1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;
2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
The prophecy was in answer to that prayer.
Daniel 9:27
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
It's painfully obvious that the person that accomplished seventy years of the desolations of Jerusalem in Jeremiah's prophecy is the same person that would cause a further desolation of Jerusalem in response to the overspreading of abominations.
That would be the LORD who did it using the armies of the Chaldeans the first time and the armies of the Romans the second time.
You are in the wrong prophecy.Daniel 11
You are in the wrong prophecy.
No, they do not.Daniel 8, 9, and 11 all concern the same events.
I'm not.
Daniel 8, 9, and 11 all concern the same events.
You know it, I know it.
You are in the wrong prophecy.
Daniel 11 was fulfilled in the time of Antiochus Epiphanes.
7 YEAR PEACE PACT = SEPT 2017 AFTER IRAN / ISRAEL WAR UNTIL 2024 ARMAGEDDON
Daniel 11 was completely fulfilled by the end of Antiochus Epiphanes' rule over Jerusalem.A type is never the complete fulfillment of the prophecy as the endtime is.
Daniel 11 was completely fulfilled by the end of Antiochus Epiphanes' rule over Jerusalem.
Which part do you think was not fulfilled?
The seventy weeks prophecy was also completely fulfilled.
The seventy weeks ended 3-1/2 years after the crucifixion, right before Peter was told to go to Cornelius.
Because the inhabitants of Jerusalem failed to complete the six assigned tasks (to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy) by the end of the seventy weeks, the prophesied desolation of Jerusalem happened in 70 CE according to the additional prophecy from Jesus in the Olivet Discourse (Luke 21).
Daniel 8, 9, and 11 all concern the same events.
You know it, I know it.
The seventy weeks ended 3-1/2 years after the crucifixion, right before Peter was told to go to Cornelius.
just for entertainment i tuned in to Revelation - End of Days on History channel. they used alot of OT scripture and NT, but lacked depth in Christianity.
Daniel 8 was fulfilled by Antiochus.
No, they do not.
You have an agenda.
