A century ago, they were simply policemen and that was that. In all other places in the world, they are still just that.
But here in 'Murica, many have been suckered into this ridiculous mindset that they are heroes to be venerated.

And people wonder why, in America, police abuse is so much more common- you all give them the unwarranted passage and confidence to do it!
