The babes who nursed at the crucifixion would grow to be adults and live through the horror of the destruction of Jerusalem, which was the exact same theme expressed through out the book, especially in 13, 19, 21.
The only thing MAD can do with this, is the fracturing that they always do with the Bible, which is to say that the calamity of Lk 23 is "totally different" from the calamity of Lk 21 or 19.
Even the calling to the mountains to 'fall on us' is there in the passage, which many people will know from the Rev, because they spend way too much time in the Rev. Christ originally used it about the DofJ, which is what the Rev is actually about.
