Scriptures that indicate Justification in the Name of the Lord, which is Justification based upon the Merits, Person, and Work of the Lord Jesus Christ. All of who He is in His Glorious Person and what He finished and accomplished for His People resulted in their Justification before God. Another scripture that reveals this is Isa 53:11

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

The many here are Justified by the righteous servant knowledge and bearing their iniquities, so by His Person and Work. Nothing to do with Faith unless were to consider the righteous servants Faith/Faithfulness !

Rom. 5:9, 19

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Who was delivered for or because of our offences, and was raised again for or because of our justification.

Christ resurrection is proof/evidence that those for whom sins He was delivered for, are Justified for it. This is based Solely upon His Person and Work, so its justification in His Name!

Here Paul says that many shall be/are made righteous/justified by the obedience of One, that One being the Lord Jesus Christ. This the many being made righteous resulted solely of the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. Their Faith, had nothing to do with it, because then it would need read by the Obedience of Two the many were made righteous since Faith is an act of obedience,

Rom 16:26

But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Rom 10:16

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?[/FONT]

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

This justification is the result of Christ's redemptive payment of the ransom. This ransom payment delivered, released those He died for from debt, the debt their sins incurred against Gods Law and Justice.

So this being Justified in the Name of the Lord, Justified solely on the basis of the Work Of Christ, by which His death for them on the Cross, it satisfied the debt of Justice due for everyone He represented. Christ alone deserves full credit for this Justification through the redemption in His Blood. Anything beyond this is arguing against His Blood !

Again Christ's resurrection is a validation that Christ's death, putting away our offences, if were elect, that His death justified us. Heres why, when He died He purged us from our sins ! Heb 1:3

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

His sitting down on the right hand is what He after purging our sins. Now the word purge here is the greek word katharismos and means:

cleansing, purifying, purification, literal, ceremonial, or moral; met: expiation.

a cleansing from the guilt of sins by the expiatory sacrifice of Christ. And because thats so they are Justified. In fact the word for Justification paralells this, its the word dikaiōsis:

),
the act of God's declaring men free from guilt and acceptable to him

And thats what Christ's purging us from our sins accomplished . Justification before God ! The resurrection validates it !
