JPPT1974's Wed Thoughts 1/14/2026:

JPPT1974

Happy New Year 2026 January Jumping!
You and I need to really
Always remember that our parents have
Been there for us as kids and babies
Now it is our time to return the favor
Don't you think it is time to do so?
Because our reward is greater in eternity
Taking care over on those who have
In the past taken care of us as my mom
Has Lupus herself and tries to keep busy
As much as possible while trying to take
Care of her husband of nearly 57-years and
Her best friend of sixty years this year as they
Deserve our unconditional love and understanding.

Sure. We do. She is 102 and counting. Still living in her own apartment ... but it is at a facility where she is served meals and has people calling to check on her... and do a few of her chores. She gets her hair done every week and dresses to the nine. Likes the company of men. Poor thing - trouble hearing and has to use a walker, but she still gets around the complex. We buy her groceries and such, take her for doctor appointments, go see her and check on her often, and make sure she gets her prescriptions. We've spent quite a few evenings and nights in hospital emergency rooms. If she has ailments doctors seem afraid to just let her go home at her age; so they send her to emergency. So far she comes home from the hospital with better reports then I might. I surely take more medicine. She is a wonder. She was a type of Rosie the Riveter during WWII. She has a few interesting experiences there. One about a boss paying her too much attention. He got into trouble after he broke her arm on his motor bike. LOL Maybe she is part of the generation that will live to see Christ return.
