My grandparents had 14 children. Nine of which were male.
When war time came, they all wanted to join, but knew that it would not be beneficial for the family if they all left. So 3 of the males stayed.

All but one of the men returned from war.
And I have heard them express many times that it saddened them when others gave them so much respect and glory, but treated the ones that stayed behind as if they were nothing important.

This is the first thread I've ever started about John Wayne, and it is to discuss the claim he was a hypocrite.



If you think that's the case, you obviously lack discernment.
Most of us already know that about you, but thanks for proving it again.

First you idolize him, now all of a sudden you turn on him and call him

roles were not his best! Should of stuck with Westerns and war movies,
