Jesus shed his blood as a propitiation for sin, that's true, but reconciliation does not of itself generate righteousness. If it did everyone in the world would be righteous.
Unfortunately that's what many churchgoers believe. that's what they think Paul is teaching.

Salvation has been provided for all, Hebrews 2:9. God is now at peace with the world because of the doing and the dying of Jesus, Colossians 1:20.
This is probably more than your religious mind can comprehend.
You won't find the truth in the organized church.

to one degree or another: that man must do something to get himself saved; what he does by his own freewill.

Can't you read the scripture? God has ALREADY reconciled the world unto himself by Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:19. No predestination needed. No Calvinism needed.
Why is it you can't receive the truth of the Gospel? Is it that you have been blinded by Calvinism? God is now at peace with the world because of the doing and the dying of Jesus, Colossians 1:20.
Sin, death and the devil have been abolished and Jesus is Lord. Now, and because of the victorious work of Christ, "Whosoever that shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13.

Calvinism is a departure from the faith, the Gospel and justification by faith.
The worst part of your TULIP is the "L". A limited atonement means that Jesus is NOT Lord. if Jesus is NOT Lord then no one is saved, not even Calvinist. Your Calvinist doctrine is anti-gospel and anti-Christ.
Maybe you would like to explain to us how God and Jesus made a deal with the devil so that Jesus only atoned for some sins, but not all sins? You are in direct conflict with God's word and the Lordship of Jesus Christ and are most likely hell bound.
