We are reconciled to God by the doing and the dying of Jesus, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19. God sees all things in his Son Jesus Christ.

Observe, the Pate deception....The devil does that...adding to the scriptures....

Romans 5:10 KJV For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Pate's Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the doing and the dying of Jesus, .....

That is slick, Pate....Real, slick....As slick as a pig, sliding down a plank...

Yes, "He did this for us," but not for the perverted reasons Pate asserts.

Pate asserts that this "offered to God the Father a life of perfect obedience according to his holy law" is imputed to us, i.e., His perfect law keeping is credited to us; and that "vicarious law keeping" is what is "anti-Gospel and anti-Christ."

Discussed on another thread, so Pate posts another redundant thread, as usual.

Romans 7:4 KJV Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Galatians 2:19 KJV For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

Romans 3:21 KJV But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Philippians 3:9 KJV And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Did you get that, Pate?

So, John, am I correct in assuming you do not believe in "imputed righteousness?"

Yes I did, you deceptive troll, so stuff your "can't answer simple questions" jazz. No, Pate, you just are too stupid, or satanically ensnarled, devious, to understand my clear, often provided response. One more time, agent of satan. He fulfilled the law, perfectly, for us, but not so this perfect law keeping is credited, imputed to our account-that is your satanic assertion-vicarious law keeping, from the pits of hell.. He did it, to be qualified, to be the satisfactory sacrifice, the propitiation, as He "offered himself without spot to God.."(Hebrews 9:14)

Yes it is, satanic one.

Romans 3:21 KJV But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

No scripture testifies that "just like we did it ourselves"-you made that up. Even if this was true, idiot, law keeping, even kept perfectly, is not the righteousness of God, nor does it convey it.

You are either too stupid, or too ensnarled by the devil, to see it.

And your "What Jesus did, he did for us," does NADA for your "vicarious law keeping" perversion. He kept the law, "for us," in the context of being qualified, to be the satisfactory sacrifice, the propitiation, as He "offered himself without spot to God.."(Hebrews 9:14)

You and your fellow Calvinist belief in vicarious law keeping has NADA to do with justification by faith.

You just threw that up there, thinking it sounds scriptural-false dichotomy, quite irrelevant to the topic.

Yes, but that justification is in no way tied to the Saviour's perfect law keeping being imputed to our account, nor is it factored in our justification, as you devilishly keep spamming.

Pate: Out with...

Romans 3:21 KJV But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Why do you call me names? Do you feel the need to put others down, so as to lift yourself up? You appear to have a serious case of low self esteem, you need to get help. Cut out the name calling, it does not accomplish anything and makes you look immature.

Jesus has reconciled us and the world to God the Father, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19 The question is how did he do that?

Jesus is God's new Adam and our new representative. Just as we were lost by a representative so shall we be saved by a representative.

""For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be MADE righteous" Romans 5:19.

The key word in this scripture is "MADE" We do not become righteous. We are MADE righteous. Jesus as our representative makes us righteous. In our name and on our behalf, Jesus offers to God the Father a life of perfect obedience according to his holy law. God said, "This is my Son in whom I am well pleased" Matthew 17:5. God was well pleased with Jesus because Jesus had victoriously full filled his holy law, Matthew 5:18 and had defeated sin, death and the devil.

If Jesus had not fulfilled God's law no one could be saved. The law must be fulfilled and abolished before fallen man can be saved, Ephesians 2:15. To be under the law is to be under condemnation. The law must be done away with for the Christian. God must see the believer as perfect and complete in Christ before he will impart his Holy Spirit to the believer, Colossians 2:10.

Not true. The Father sees all his children and watches over each one.

You don't do anything the Father doesn't see. He also knows our thoughts.

God sees all things in Christ.

And dead people don't sin so why are you always talking about sin.

There are many things we should be concerned about, but sin is not one of them.

Without God's Spirit people sin, period. With God's Spirit people can resist sin.

David chose to sin, but he didn't have to make that choice.

The Spirit and the flesh are at odds with each other. This is why Paul said, "For they that are after the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit" Romans 8:5.

You devious spammer. Slower-He did "offer(s) to God the Father a life of perfect obedience according to his holy law. ..God was well pleased with Jesus because Jesus had victoriously full filled his holy law, "-but not so that perfect obedience to the law could be credited to our account, sloppy one-that is a satanic perversion of the gospel of Christ=vicarious law keeping. He did it to be qualified as the perfect sacrifice-satisfactory sacrifice=propitiation.

Stop spamming lies, and perverting the gospel of Christ.

Quite irrelevant to your satanic vicarious law keeping argument/spam.

""For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be MADE righteous" Romans 5:19.

Correct. But that "obedience" is His dbr, not his perfectly keeping the law, as you spam.
The key word in this scripture is "MADE" We do not become righteous. We are MADE righteous. Jesus as our representative makes us righteous.

He is our righteousness. But quite irrelevant to your satanic vicarious law keeping argument/spam.Rabbit trail...

Correct, but He did not fulfill it, so as it can to be credited/imputed to our account, as you spam. .

The law never was the basis of a believer's righteousness. You say that it is. That perverts the gospel of Christ, and your vicarious law keeping spam is from the pits of hell.

Because it is biblical to expose/identify/mark wolves, and call them names. Of course, you would not know that, as you only study what others say the bible teaches, not the bible itself.
Do you feel the need to put others down, so as to lift yourself up?

No-wolves are already in the dirt-no need.

Of course you are wrong.

If Jesus had not fulfilled the law for us no one could be saved. God demands a life of perfect obedience according to his Holy Law. Do you have it to offer John W.? No, you don't have it to offer, you sin every day. Jesus in your name and on your behalf, has victoriously fulfilled every jot and tittle of the law for you, Matthew 5:18. If he didn't fulfill it for you, then who did he fulfill it for? And then he imputed his righteousness to you so that God could see you as perfect and complete in Christ, Colossians 2:10.

That was not enough, something had to be done about your sins, "For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" 2 Corinthians 5:21. So there you are, You have the righteousness of Christ imputed to you, You would not have been righteous if Jesus did not fulfill the law for you, Matthew 5:18. Nor could you have been saved if your sins had not been atoned for. Because of the doing and the dying of Jesus God now sees you as perfect and complete in Christ, Colossians 2:10.

You should thank God every day that you are not under the law. To be under the law is to be under condemnation and judgment. Where there is law there is sin.

"God demands a life of perfect obedience according to his Holy Law"=Pate's satanism.

Slower :perfect obedience to the law is not righteousness, you biblical idiot.

Read it, sloppy Pate:

Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Romans 10 KJV
1Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

Read it, sloppy-You refuse to submit yourself to the righteousness of God, and assert, satanically, that perfect obedience to the law conveys righteousness.
