I do not subscribe to the theology that God predetermines everything. This verse seems to indicate that He doesn't.
Genesis 6:6
And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
And here is what I see in Gen 6:6 .
And it repented / naham whose stem is niphal and it means to declare and the aspect is in the Heb imperfect tense which means Christ repented and represents continuous action in past time .
The Heb words He had made/ asa , stem is Qal and it means to know by experience , that is , a present result is based on a past act .
and it grieved Him / stem is Hithpael which means reveals ones self and is also in the imperfect tense which represents continuous action in past time .
