If His hidden agenda intervened, why didn’t Paul know about it?
Especially since that “hidden agenda“ involved Paul.

I have no idea what you're talking about.
The hidden agenda was the dispensation of the grace of God given to Paul.
So of course Paul knew about it.
Eph 3:8-12 (AKJV/PCE)
