The Bible does not teach that you can be saved any other way than by hearing and believing the Gospel.

The Hearing of Faith Gal. 3:2,5 only applies to those who are Born of the Spirit, the Regenerate, which are given John 3:27 Spiritual Hearing. And we know that Faith comes by Hearing Rom. 10:17. So, you see, a person who hasn't been Born of God can do nothing that pleases Him Rom 8:8.

Before a person is Born of God, he/she can't even "hear" God's Words.

John 8:47
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

The First Cause of Hearing and Believing the Gospel is God!

2 Thes. 2:13-14
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
