I don't agree with you. Racism is alive and well in this country. Laws won't change that. Our children might depending on what their patents teach them.

I am more left than right because Jesus is more left than right based on modern definitions and political platforms of the left and right. Being more left than right means that I care more about people and less about money and possessions.

He never said the gov should... well, do ANYTHING
much less force peoiple to give money to others..

Every 50 years (if I remember right) were celebrated to return ALL the land back to its original family owners.
We should be proud of our faith heritage.
The Jews were the only people to do this. Their experience with domination and conquerors throughout history gave them a tradition of caring for "the widow and the orphan" and overtly challenging the powers and principalities of the day--just as Jesus did in Jerusalem.
