How the Gospel Refutes Calvinism and Catholicism

In the Gospel Jesus comes into the world as Gods new Adam and humanities new representative.

The old Adam brought sin and death upon us. Gods new Adam brings righteousness and eternal life.

"For as by one mans disobedience (Adam) many (all of humanity) were MADE sinners, so by the obedience of one (Christ) shall many (all of humanity) be MADE righteous, Romans 5:19.

Just as we were MADE sinners by one man, so shall we be MADE righteous by one man.

GOD SEES ALL THINGS IN HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.

This is where Calvinism, Catholicism, all religions fail. God does NOTHING and sees NOTHING outside of his Son Jesus Christ.

"And he is before ALL THINGS and by him ALL THINGS consist". Jesus Christ is Gods new Adam and our new humanity. When God looks at us all that he can see is his Son Jesus Christ. This is why there is no individual predestination. This is why Paul wrote to the Colossians, "For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God" Colossians 3:3.

We are "In Christ" and Christ is in heaven, Ephesians 2:6. No one needs to be predestinated to be saved. No one needs to become a member of the Catholic church to be saved. When we come to Christ as repentant sinners we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and are placed "In Christ". Thats it. You can trust in this because it is according to the Bible. Predestinationism is not according to the Bible, nor is Catholicism.

"If any man be "IN CHRIST" he is a new creation" 2 Corinthians 5:17. God sees us a new creations "In Christ" "Old things have passed away; behold ALL THINGS are become new".

The old sinful Adamic humanity was put to death in Jesus Christ, Romans 6:6. And a new humanity was brought forth in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We can become a part of God's new humanity by accepting Christ as our savior.

Jesus has perfected Gods new humanity and has taken it to heaven. Jesus said, "Where your heart is there is your treasure also".

You teach millions upon millions who Christ Lived and died for, shall wind up in hell ! What kind of saviour are you preaching, cant save folk from hell for their sins !

I completely agree with the notion that the gospel defeats Calvinism and Catholicism (Augustinian Predestination) but I can't say that I follow your logic. Can you be more specific in regards to how exactly the argument works?

Having been on TOL for a few years now, it is obvious to me that predestination types and the catholics both reject Romans 5. I think he was just going over it.
