I have no idea what this post refers to. All I can guess at is that, because 'only written for semi automatic', and 'circumvent the magazine restrictions', that it's a gun with an effective capacity of more than the NY state limit, which is I'm guessing in the 5, 8 or 10 range, with 10 being the max possible. And, that it's either an automatic gun (as opposed to a 'semi' automatic gun)---which is extremely unlikely since to own one requires difficult to obtain permitting---or a pump action gun (shotgun), or a revolver (never heard of a revolver with anything but a wheel, can't even imagine one with a huge wheel that might exceed 10 rounds), or a lever action gun with a capacity exceeding the NY state limit. I remember arguing with Town once about gun rights and he said or at least implied or alluded to owning and preferring his lever action rifle.
They are nice guns, no doubt about it. And depending upon the activity, there are guns more suited to the situation. But even if I'm hunting with a lever action, I still have my semi-auto maximum capacity mag-fed in the car out back, just in case. Which is always the case---just in case. I shoot trap and skeet, and use a shotgun for those. But for defense I still have the rifles in the car. Those are the superior guns. If I could access the same rifles that all our troops use, I would own those instead, but I have what the law allows. I think if the law allows only for lever action guns, that our rights are too injured, and that our regime disrespects us too much. They may already be there, but we got extremely lucky with President Trump, that he was able to seat three new S. Ct. justices is almost a miracle. They could change the rules of the gun rights /Second Amendment game real quick. Thomas for one is obviously 'itching' to tackle gun rights. If he gets his way---watch out.
In a good way.
