Gulf 'T' Thread

I played 18 holes today and walked the whole course. Adamantly, it was not a large gulf course, just a small-town country club player course. I had to lay down in the grass two times to make it, but without using a riding gulf cart, it was some record walk.

An older man played through and yelled at me for napping there. I told him. “sonny”, you better get on your way” getting up club in hand. The man told thee shop steward I threatened him with a golf club, but a manager told him I was a regular member and to make no assumptions. He told the man to jump in a lake.

Later, he asked me about the man and I said I had called him ‘sonny’ for bothering me, and that is when he manager told me the man thought I was going to hit him with a gulf club, which was never on my mind.:angel:

It would be interesting to hear about other’s golf games, so, post on topic, or post any fun summer sport and event you like.

I hate when people play through. I remember going golfing with my Grandpa and on a par 3 I hit the green on the first shot, I was about 9 years old

I'm planning a lot of activities coming up this fall and next summer, God willing. I'm getting good ice skates, getting my bicycle fixed and tuned up, going to the Zoo, Six Flags and lots of swimming. I can't wait.

Not really, Alabama gulf coast, but I do play in Clearwater and Naples Florida, as well in wiregress Alabama and sometimes up near Atlanta. When I can get my son to play there.

I would get up early and run barefoot 18 holes before the golfers got started.
Then I'd sit lotus or Zen knee style and meditate for half an hour.
That's when that dog from next door ran up to me, sniffed, thought I was a stump and proceeded to pee on me.

Anyway, I was shopping up at Walmart today and ran into another crabby old man. He said I was buying all the fish on sale and he wants some of my fish. I gave him one fish and told him to be content, well, he took off in a huff! Bad behviour...........

Then I went over to Watergate to watch the kid swim, and while there I walked around the park. Then, I went for a dip in the pool and now I am doing nothing at all:yawn:
