not much chance of oil - i've got about seventy feet of limestone on top of another seventy feet of potsdam sandstone on top of Canadian Shield
there's two wells (that i know of) on the property - sometime within the past thirty years or so they both worked - one served the house, one served the barn
they've been idle for at least fifteen years
