2 Tim 1:9-12
The grace of God in Christ was given before time. It was recently revealed through the appearance of Christ.
So it was one grace and Gospel, the Gospel being the event that accomplished it, not the human-response formulas that people debate (baptisms, repentance, lordship, surrender, tongues, etc).
It was the one Gospel for which Paul had worked, and on which he based his hope. We can really extend the section to 2:10 because his Gospel is "Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David."
Paul was just forgetful and didn't remember the other gospels along the way that the 'club' champions.
