Decreased spending from what it was under Trump.
What liar or idiot told you that? The House spends the money, according to Nancy Pelosi, and she is right.
Decreased spending from what it was under Trump.
Remember when Biden claimed Trump had caused 200 million covid deaths in America? What most Americans do not know is that politicians often spew out phony numbers they simply fabricate from thin air for the purpose of creating respect among the hearers for their policies and qualifications. Lying erases all other qualifications those bozos may possess.
Did Trump spend more money in his first two years than Biden has spent in less than two? Not by a trillion. Did Trump open the US checkbook to wild spending while democrats objected with loud voices? Don't be ridiculous. Have the democrats opened the US checkbook to wild spending as republicans vociferously objected? Absolutely. But, apart from political lies told by lying politicians and their sycophantic media supporters, how much money has been spent and who spent it?
The US financial sector collapsed under Bush in 2008 and Congress authorized massive stimulus spending to try to keep the whole country from collapsing. Stimulus spending drove the US debt to nearly $12 trillion in 2010 from $9 trillion in 2007. Stimulus spending continued well into Obama's first term and by the time Trump took office in 2017 the US debt had grown to around $20 trillion. That means that the money the US government spent from 2010 to 2017 was at least $8 trillion more than it took in in tax revenues.
Under Trump's first three years the U.S. debt rose from around $20 trillion in 2017 to nearly $23 trillion by the end of 2019. Democrats gained control of the U.S. House in 2018 and also controlled several key state government positions when the covid pandemic hit in early 2020. Congress authorized additional government spending in 2020 that was approved by Trump and the debt rose from around $23 trillion in early 2020 to more than $27 trillion by early 2021, a $6 trillion panic-driven spending spree boosted by democrat- promoted and democrat-enforced shutdowns and lockdowns. 18 months into Biden's term the debt has now risen from under $28 trillion to just under $31 trillion.
What are we seeing with these facts? That democrats capitalize on crises to effect massive increases in government spending. As Rahm Emanuel famously said, "Never let a crisis go to waste." As a corollary to that he could have said if we need an excuse to open the government checkbook then we simply need to create a crisis.
Someone did invent the alleged global warming crisis.
