All True Believers are Gifts to Christ from His Father !

True Believers are given to Christ as part of His Glory and Reward for His Redemptive undertaking via the Cross, and all of the Law obedience that led up to it, Hence Jesus says of those Love Gifts from the Father Jn 6:37

All that the Father gives me shall come to me; and he that comes to me I will in no wise cast out.

They shall come because they have been predestinated to come! Paul writes of it here Eph 1:5

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

The word shall in Jn 6:37 is a word that means:

will have to, is determined to, or definitely will:

And the word come, as in shall come is the greek word heko and denotes:

metaphorically, to come to one i. e. seek an intimacy with one, become his follower:

So the coming denotes Faith in Christ. So God the Father gives them to Christ so that they become His followers ! Just like this Jn 10:27,29a

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all

Amen, Love Gifts... to the Great Shepherd of the Sheep Heb. 13:20 that Father had chosen in Union with His Son before the foundation of the world, and predestinated them to Life Eternal, so they would be forever with Him John 17:2! ☺

What I get from your posts is that to believe that Jesus died for your sins will somehow make you righteous. But scripture does not back that up. Paul is a confuser. The blood of the son of man does save but His blood is the word as His flesh is the word.

What about the following words from the pen of the author of the book of Hebrews?:

"Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins" (Heb.9:22).

The sentence upon sin is death: "For the wages of sin is death" (Ro.6:23).

Therefore, when a man sins the sentence upon him is death. No amount of good deeds can bring him righteousness after he sins. If he is ever to be justified in the sight of God it must be by the penalty being paid. He must be justified by death, "justified by blood" (Ro.5:9).

Once a sinner believes the gospel, then, at that time, he is identified with the death of the Lord Jesus. And at the same time when the Holy Spirit baptizes him "into Jesus Christ" (the Body of Christ; 1 Cor. 12: 13, 27) he is also baptized into the death of the Lord Jesus:

"Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death"
(Ro.6:3-4).

The sins of the Christian have already been judged on the Cross so now the Lord can declare him righteous despite the fact that personally he is not righteous:

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2 Cor.5:21).

It is those who believe the gospel of grace who are saved and you deny the heart and soul of that gospel, that believers are "justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" (Ro.3:24).

Right, a person who has never been Born of the Spirit of God doesn't have the ability to hear, understand God's Words which are Spiritual.

The Lord Jesus makes it plain the being "born of the Spirit" is the same thing as being "born again" (Jn.3:6-7).

And the Apostle Peter makes it plain that a person is "born again" by the "word of God," the "gospel":

"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God...And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you"
(1 Pet.1:23,25).

According to your mistaken idea, if a person has not been "born again" then he doesn't have the ability to even hear the gospel!

But Peter makes it plain that no one is "born again" unless he hears the gospel.

You are totally confused!

Until a person is born again, they cant understand the Gospel Jn 3:3

And Jesus tells us who it is that Hears the Gospel here Jn 8:47

He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

According to Jesus here, who is it that hears the words of God, which the Gospel is ?

Born again, Born of the Spirit, and New Birth all describe the Surpernatural quickening work of the Holy Spirit in each of God's Elect at His appointed time. It's the one Born of incorruptible seed, which means we had to have been In Union with Christ when He died, was buried and raised again 1 Cor. 15:3-4, which guarantees our being born again. So it's that Union the Elect had in Christ before the foundation of the world Eph. 1:4-5, not by any work they do, but New Birth is received passively by the Power of God: A Miracle in every Elect soul!

1 Pet. 1:23,25 describes one being born again, or begotten again 1 Pet. 1:3 of incorruptibe seed, the Logos of God, that Peter says the Gospel was preached to. And so because Faith is a Fruit of the Holy Spirit Gal. 5:22, no one can bear Spiritual Fruit unless they have first experienced New Birth, or Born of God.

Also, being Born of God / New Birth precedes Hearing the Gospel, which are God's Words:

John 8:47
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

So if a person has never experienced New Birth, they are still carnal, and nothing they do has the ability to please God Rom. 8:7-8!

Faith is the evidence of new birth !

Paul proves that as we consider two scriptures in Galatians. In Gal 5:6 he writes

6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Now lets look at Gal 6:15

15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Now in both of these scriptures hes denouncing a false teaching of the jews who were mixing salvation by Grace with salvation by works, saying that being physically circumcised as Gods people were commanded under the old covenant system, was necessary for salvation for the gentiles. Paul is saying that circumcision means absolutely nothing for salvation, God has no regard for it at all, but what God notices is Faith which woketh by love, in Gal 5:6! But in Gal 6:15, God notices a new creature, not whether you are circumcised!

The point is this, we can't have the Faith which worketh by love without having been made a new creature by the Spirit. You see both Faith and Love God notices are fruit of the Spirit Gal 5:22

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

If you do not have living faith...that is faith with right action...then you cannot get saved in the first place.

God does not give His Spirit and make His home inside unrepentant haters.

So True! The Faith and Love that God is the Author of and notices, is the Fruit and effect of being Born of the Spirit by God's Grace alone, without any intervention of men.

But God does not notice the faith or love of a carnal man because it means nothing with regard to their salvation, and neither is He pleased by them because they are merely works of the flesh Rom.8:7-8; filthy rags Is. 64:6!
