Can you clarify or are we going to continue to argue the topic of clarification and language.
By the way: Language is key in arguments. And sadly, that's what most debates end up being about "language"
Can you clarify or are we going to continue to argue the topic of clarification and language.
I'm not trying to discuss you're entire argument because I'm not interested in that
bs
Then thats evasion of the points I made in the post, because each point builds off the other to build my argument, and prove it by scripture ! So you have admitted you are not interested in debating the points of the post !
Did you know that Christ Himself Promises to give them He died for, His Sheep, Faith to Believe in Him ?
When He says this Jn 10:16
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
When He says that other Sheep He has [meaning the Gentiles] and them also He must bring Jn 10:14-16 this He does by bestowing upon them Both Faith and Repentance, bringing them and causing them to believe are the same thing !
Notice He said for a certain that they shall hear His Voice, which is what gives them Faith, for it is written Rom 10:17
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Or
In the original the word for word is rhema and means:
a thing spoken, (a) a word or saying of any kind, as command, report, promise, (b) a thing, matter, business.
rhḗma (from 4483 /rhéō, "to speak") – a spoken word, made "by the living voice"
It means also the Living Voice ! and also in the original , the Word God is actually Christos :
Anointed One; the Messiah, the Christ.
So Faith cometh by Hearing the Living Voice of Christ, and thats why He says again in Jn 10:16
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
He brings them to Faith by causing them to Hear His Voice. In fact is Heb 12:2 the word author as in Heb 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
That word is made up of the word agō which means, I bring/ lead, bring forth, and its the same word for bring in Jn 10:16
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, G71 and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
So He must lead or bring them to Faith, they shall Hear His Voice, thats how and why He is the author of their Faith.
So in Jn 10:16 Christ ensures that His Sheep He lays down His life for Jn 10:14, that He shall lead and or bring them to Faith, by them hearing His Voice, which is How Faith comes Rom 10:17 !
Amen!
Because Christ is The Author and Finisher of the Faith for the Sheep He died for,
the Elect of God chosen In Union with Him to have Eternal Life Eph. 1:4-5;
even then He was their Surety Heb. 7:22. That is the reason why they shall Believe, have Faith in Him,
for He gives them Spiritual Life John 6:33 by which they are able to Hear His Voice John 10:16.
So because of their Union in Christ John 10:28-29 they must come to Faith in Him that's why He,
The Shepherd and Bishop of their souls 1 Pet 2:25; Heb. 13:20, is the Causer of their Faith and Repentance.

2 Pet 1:1
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
Peter in this scripture does inform us where precious Faith comes from ! Its certainly not of ourselves Eph 2:8.
It comes in or with the Righteousness of God and Our Saviour, this Righteousness is the free gift that Christ purchased and bestows upon all for whom He died Rom 5:17
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ)
This Righteousness as well as that referred to in 2 Pet 1:1 is the imparted Righteousness of Christ we receive at New Birth. It is through this imparted or communicated Righteousness at New Birth we receive of, that with it we are given precious Faith.
Peter goes on to say 2 Pet 1:3-4
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Faith or precious Faith is of the many things Given to us by New Birth which gives us to live a life of godliness !
So 2 Pet 1:1 is but another scripture that proves biblically that Faith is the product of New Birth, partaking experimentally of the Divine Nature !
I find it strange that you bang on about faith to believe and yet you refuse to give an account of the moment you first believed. Is that because you believe in Calvinism and not the evangelism.
Did you read and understand the points made in the post you quoted ?
''Always be prepared to give a reason for the hope that is in you'', but you never do. That is because your hope is in theology and not Theos.
Evasion of points I made!
I posted a request for your testimony of salvation and you evaded the request. Same as you did last year and the year before. This is my annual request.
Evasion and Rabbit trail ! If you dont care to debate the points I made in this thread, then just stay away !
As I said this is my annual request for you to give a testimony of salvation. You don't have one.
see you next year.
