Earthquakes in Texas?

Dude, Californians aren't Yankee and they aren't Johnny Reb...they're a breed unto themselves, capable of all manner of strange! There's no tellin' what kind of tonic is on their plates! :noid:

You're right about us not being Yankees, but we don't have a monopoly on the strange, every state has its share. :)

Yankees start at the Red River.

There is a Red River of the North in Minnesota. Minnesota, home of smarmy, platitudinous, political correctness... just don't get in the way of a Minnesotan on the freeway. They'd rather die than give up the right of way.

The argument is that earthquakes are happening in places that they have not been recorded before, directly under fracking operations.

so they're injecting fluids between tectonic plates and they're settling into positions that they would have, eventually, but much more forcefully

and this is seen as a bad thing? :idunno:

Nothing compares to California strange although I've been told that Canadians are a more rustic version. :chuckle:

now now, don't stereotype

when you say "canadians", do you mean maritimers? newfies? Québécois? ontarians (and you must differentiate between city and small town)? prairie provincers? northerners? aboriginals?

eta: of course, this time of year, an awful lot of them are snowbirds :chuckle:
