I'm just continually baffled by the ridiculous things these people say in defense of their doctrine. They contradict one doctrine in order to defend another and refuse to allowed their own mind to make the connections required to see the contradiction.
Clete, I feel the same way about those who teach that the Jews who lived under the law could not be saved apart from works despite the fact that the Lord Jesus said the following to the Jews who lived under the law:
"Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life" (Jn.6:47).
I am baffled that those who teach that the Jews who lived under the law could not be saved apart from works despite the Savior's clear words at John 6:47.
