Despising the Blood of Christ !

Many in mans religion today despise the Blood/Death of Christ by refusing to acknowdge Saving, Converting Power. Its as Paul wrote here 2 Tim 3:5

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

They deny the Power of the Blood of Christ, which is the Blood of the Testament/Covenant Matt 26:28

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

They deny the Power of the Blood #1 in that they dont acknowledge that regarding the Many it was shed for, they as a result have remission/forgiveness of sins !

And this is an vital aspect of Salvation, for John links Salvation and Remission/Forgivenss of sins together Lk 1:77

To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

Salvation comes in the remission of sins, which the Many have who Christ shed His Covenant Blood for.

Another way mans boastful religion despises and undervalues the Covenant Blood of Christ, its by teaching that those Christ died for can and do live and die unconverted, never coming to live by Faith. This contradicts what scripture teaches about the Blood of Christ and what it most powefully effects Heb 9:14

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

"shall the blood of Christ purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God"

Folks this is an declaration of what the Blood of Christ does ! It purges the conscience from dead works to serve the Living God, which is to live by Faith. This is ascribing converting power to the Blood of Christ, yet how many today would tell us that many who Christ died for shall never be converted unto God. Those who tech such, believe such, despise the Blood of Christ !

Christ did not die for individual sins or sinners on the cross. He died as a corporate man or a federal head or a father figure like Adam. He was not on the cross dying for one man's sins and passing over the next. His victory over sin provided a fountain of grace which is available to all men by faith in his blood. Your understanding of the atonement is Catholic where sin is seen as bad deeds instead of a fallen nature that can do nothing but sin.

No one enters that grace of paid for sins unless they have faith that Jesus' blood washes their sins away.

See Romans 5:2.

Yes they do!

All their dead works are boastful indeed, and bear evidence that the Blood of Christ has had no effect on purging their conscience.

Nor can they serve the Living God because nothing they do can please Him Rom. 8:8, so they remain in contempt of the Blood of Christ.

But the Many Mat. 26:28 whom Christ's Precious Blood was shed for; Chosen in Union with Him to have Salvation: forgiveness / remission of sins according to the riches of His Grace Eph. 1:4-7, they shall be Given Knowledge of it Luke 1:77 and in their lifetime be converted by the Power of the Holy Spirit in New Birth!

Their works were not dead, they did what God told them to do. Their works became dead when they failed to see that Jesus is the Lamb that takes away sins.

Nor can they serve the Living God because nothing they do can please Him Rom. 8:8, so they remain in contempt of the Blood of Christ.

They can do something that pleases God, they can have faith that Jesus' blood washes away the sins they repent of doing.

ALL are called, but not all will come to him and be saved.

False teachers helped to stump the Calvinists. Teaching no one can hear and be taught, persuaded and convinced is to deny the truth:

Our faith comes from HEARING the word, see Romans 10:17. From hearing the word and being TAUGHT, Colossians 1:5, 7. From continuing in what we have been CONVINCED of, see 2 Timothy 3:14, and being PERSUADED, 2 Corinthians 5:11. In Acts 26:17 Jesus tells Paul he is sending him to the Jews and Gentiles to OPEN THEIR EYES and turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. How do you think Paul is going to open the eyes of the Jews and the Gentiles? Remember, faith comes from hearing the word, and Jesus sent Paul to preach the gospel. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel–not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

Paul is going to open their eyes by preaching to them.

Read what Paul says in Romans 16:25-27. Now to him who is able to ESTABLISH YOU BY MY GOSPEL AND THE PROCLAMATION OF JESUS CHRIST, according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and MADE KNOWN THROUGH THE PROPHETIC WRITINGS by the command of the eternal God, SO THAT ALL NATIONS MIGHT BELIEVE AND OBEY HIM–to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

Paul says that God made the prophetic writings known so that all nations might believe and obey. So again, the word of God tells us that faith comes from hearing. Here are more scriptures that explain how we have to HEAR the message that saves: Acts 8:31: 10:14; 11:14; 16:31; John 9:36; Ephesians 1:13; 4:21; Titus 1:3; Colossians 1:5; 1:23.

Those in the flesh cant please God. All of us are by nature in the flesh . You are in opposition to God right now in the flesh !

Not all only live to please their flesh!!!

Luke 8:15 “… these are the ones who have heard the word , in an honest and good heartand hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance.”

Matthew 12:35 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

John 18:37 "You are a king, then!" said Pilate. Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."

John 3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Despising the Blood of Christ 3

Those who falsely teach that Christ died for all men without exception, and yet at the same time teach all men without exception shall not be saved, they despise the Blood of Christ, since they cant but insinuate and declare by that, the Blood of Christ in and of itself being shed for one doesnt save ! Thats despising and undervaluing the Blood of Christ !

Yes all men by nature do live to please the flesh, they have no choice. By nature all men are children of wrath and walk according to the flesh Eph 2:3

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Right, and they teach that many millions Christ shed His Blood for shall yet die in their sins, unforgiven.

Thats despising and undervaluing the Blood of Christ !

Absolutely. They deny the efficacy of Christ's Blood to save all those they teach it was shed for.

Those in the flesh cant please God Rom 8:8 and all men by nature are in the flesh Eph 2:2-3 !

None of them pleased God in the flesh. Its impossible since God says it can't be done.
