The totalitarianism of the Democrats is becoming blatantly obvious. House Democrats are demanding answers as to why Fox News did not run a news story defaming Trump even though Fox is not the only news organization to not run the story. This is nuts. It is no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave. It's the land of the insane and the haters of liberty.

House democrats have finally lost it.

They are claiming that Fox News ‘interfered’ in a presidential election by not running an accusation of an extramarital affair Donald Trump supposedly had before his candidacy.
Democrats demands to know why Fox News didn’t publish the story and basically want the power to review all editorial decision made by a free press outlet.

House Committee on Oversight and Reform chair Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) wrote to former Fox News reporter Diana Falzone last month demanding that she turn over any documents relating to Trump’s alleged extramarital affairs.


An article in the New Yorker last month alleged that Fox News executive Ken LaCorte spiked the story to protect Trump — a claim LaCorte has vehemently denied, saying the story lacked corroborating evidence and that the network was merely practicing responsible journalism, as were other outlets who declined the story.

That article seems to have motivated Cummings’s letter — a letter that not only seeks personal dirt on the president, but seeks information that might be used to review Fox News’ editorial decisions.

Eh, would it honestly surprise anyone if Trump had an extramarital affair at any stage anyway? Considering Trump's outrage against Fox News lately for not being 100% fawning on his behalf, it's all kinda laughable, if only it were funny.

If Cummings actually just wanted info all he had to do was go to any of the mockingbird media companies that ran the story and they would gladly furnish him with it. That he's willing to pick a fight over this stupidity says he has ulterior motives. And that you try to dismiss it as nothing goes to show your bias and your hatred of our Constitution for what Cummings is demanding is a violation of the Constitution.

Fox has been notably distancing itself from Trump lately. Giving Bernie a town hall meeting (with at least some democrats in the audience), announcing that a majority of Americans want Trump impeached and removed, and so on.

On the contrary , Freeloader , it's TRUMP who is trying to control and muzzle the free press . He has called it "the enemy of the people ". The only news organization he likes an tolerates is Fox News, which was fake news long before the term became fashionable . It's fake news for a fake president .
Trump automatically labels any news story about him which is not favorable "fake news ". At a press conference , he refused to answer questions by Jim Acosta, a respected an experienced reporter , because the questions he was being asked would have put him in a bad light if he had answered them truthfully and honestly .
Acosta did nothing wrong . He was merely doing his job . I saw the confrontation between the two men on TV . But Trump was extremely rude to him, was highly evasive, and then he banned Acosta from press conferences . Fortunately, his press privileges were restored . And he hypocritically accused Acosta of being rude , even though he had not been . Trump was using HIS habitual rudeness. This is typical of Trump. Being the extreme narcissist the is, he is incapable of taking any criticism of himself . So he hires yes men and yes women to work for him. Anyone who has the courage to disagree with him on his staff and stand up to him is automatically fired . Or they resign in disgust .
