In the deluge of news about Orlando, I'm concerned that there is an effort by the Left--big media, entertainment and education--to confuse the civic or legal stance on homosexuality that now exists with that of Christians personally. To compare, some states now have legalized marijuana. In that case, 'legalized' means a civic arrangement has been made for some people to use what has been shown to be destructive.
Megan Kelly: those people were just there to have a good time...
Eric on the 5: those people just love each other and then this creep breaks in...
We don't want to confuse pluralism with an endorsement of homosexuality. But what Muslims will have to learn, more than Christians, is that civic/legal arrangements are made in this country that deeply conflict with closely-held beliefs. Homosexuals will have to learn that there is no imaginary state where you can ridicule such closely-held beliefs without some risks. Not in this life or world. Only in Lennon's 'imagine-airy' state.
The shifting legal/civil position does not give the Left the right to police people's minds, which is why religious liberty options should be preserved, and why those homosexuals who have forced people they don't know or like to be involved in their weddings is stupidity and oxymoronic.
