Have you considered Sling ... or a similar service? No contract, pay as you and customize the package to whatever channels best suit you.
Have you considered accepting Trump? No contract, pay nothing and Trump customizes the package to whatever best suits you.
As long as you have high speed internet, you can sign up online and pick whatever package works best for you. You pay by credit credit card, BUT as long as you cancel prior to your monthly service running out, you won't be auto-billed. USTVnow is another great option. Hulu, Spectrum, DirectvNow, PSVue, work the same way as long as you have a device (such as Roku or a smart tv.)
My daughter is currently staying with me and has Dish, but when she moves back to her house this month, I am sending Dish with her and going back to one of these providers. They allow you to control your programming ... at *your* convenience.
so how do you get that?
Through your internet provider. Ask for a modem with Wifi so you can link all of your devices and make sure your TV is Wifi capable. Then just sign up with whatever provider you like the best.
