Good luck with that mind set!
That's the same mind set that the apostles had, the disciples and all subsequent believers who surrender and trust Christ.
Good luck with that mind set!
This is a Christian forum - NOT a UFO forum. The urantia papers are JUNK and can't be compared at all to the Holy Bible. If the comparison was musical, it would be like comparing whistling (urantia papers) to a grand piano (Holy Bible). However, there really isn't any comparison because the Holy Bible is TRUE and the urantia papers are FALSE.
Are their any adult Christians on the forum that want to discuss this? Is it spiritually true?
The voice of the Shepherd really speaks to me in the above section, it's the living Word, a true disciple of Jesus knows the truth no matter where it comes from.
No thanks - we have the real Word of God. We don't need or care about a cheap counterfeit that twists the truth - and worse. The urantia papers are a lie, hoax, and con game.
Nobody is interested except freelight and you. We have the Holy Bible - the real Word of God.
(521.5) 46:2.8 Mount Seraph is the highest elevation on Jerusem, almost fifteen thousand feet, and is the point of departure for all transport seraphim. Numerous mechanical developments are used in providing initial energy for escaping the planetary gravity and overcoming the air resistance. A seraphic transport departs every three seconds of Urantia time throughout the light period and, sometimes, far into the recession. The transporters take off at about twenty-five standard miles per second of Urantia time and do not attain standard velocity until they are over two thousand miles away from Jerusem.
I'll have to start charging you and Freelight a fee for dropping your
garbage here! It's starting to smell real bad!
Thanks again for getting the second Urantia Book thread going on TOL, their are many followers according to the page view count. It's generating some good interest. Who knows, you may help interest the next great UB evangelist. :grave:

"They taunted Jesus on the cross, saying, “Let us see if God will come and deliver him.” It looked dark on that day of the crucifixion, but it was gloriously bright on the resurrection morning; it was still brighter and more joyous on the day of Pentecost. The religions of pessimistic despair seek to obtain release from the burdens of life; they crave extinction in endless slumber and rest. These are the religions of primitive fear and dread. The religion of Jesus is a new gospel of faith to be proclaimed to struggling humanity. This new religion is founded on faith, hope, and love."
I view your so-called revelation as blasphemy. It certainly isn't from the true and living God that Christians serve.
Blasphemy is mainly a false construct of religious authority used to control and punish. Jesus was accused of blasphemy for simply telling the truth. In Jesus' day the Sanhedrin were the "moderators" and the cross was an attempt at a lifetime "ban."

This is key in my theology:
(1861.10) 170:3.3 It is in the consideration of the technique of receiving God’s forgiveness that the attainment of the righteousness of the kingdom is revealed. Faith is the price you pay for entrance into the family of God; but forgiveness is the act of God which accepts your faith as the price of admission. And the reception of the forgiveness of God by a kingdom believer involves a definite and actual experience and consists in the following four steps, the kingdom steps of inner righteousness:
(1862.1) 170:3.4 1. God’s forgiveness is made actually available and is personally experienced by man just in so far as he forgives his fellows.
(1862.2) 170:3.5 2. Man will not truly forgive his fellows unless he loves them as himself.
(1862.3) 170:3.6 3. To thus love your neighbor as yourself is the highest ethics.
(1862.4) 170:3.7 4. Moral conduct, true righteousness, becomes, then, the natural result of such love.
